Position Overview:
As a Product Strategist, you will be responsible for product development and product management of a subset of U.S. funds (Mutual Funds, ETFs) and their non-registered funds (CITs), including oversight of the lifecycle and viability of the funds.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role, where the employee is expected to work a hybrid schedule in our Denver office.

Responsibilities:

  • Define,developand deliver products to support Transamerica Asset Management's strategy and product management function.

  • Develop new U.S. funds, including product design, investment vehicle(s),and implementation.

  • Oversee product management of U.S.investmentvehicles and sub-funds, including ongoing profitability analysis, review of fund fees and expenses, and interaction with Management Company,intermediariesand regulatory/compliance units.

  • Recommend changes to fund structures, expense allocations, total expense ratios (TER), andrationalizationof individual funds and/or sub funds.

  • Carry out sub-advisory relationship management.

  • Represent the team during meetings with senior management and stakeholders; provide guidance andassistwith issue resolution.

  • Create and deliver presentations to senior management and peers on R&D research outcomes; highlight strategic recommendations for new products, enhancements, etc. Promote overall strategy and day-to-day tactics.

  • Support withcomplex, strategic projects, including commercial,regulatory,and governance.

  • Contribute to market analysis toidentifyproduct opportunities and improve the competitive positioning of the product range.

  • Contribute to the development of marketing support, including key messaging and promotion to support sales efforts, asset retention,and drive awareness.

  • Collaborate with trainingteam on product trainingcalls and materials.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 yearsof experience in a product management/product development role.

  • Experience in a sales-driven, multi-channel, distribution environment.

  • In-depth understanding of the mutual fund industry as it relates to the UCITS and non-UCITS environment.

  • In-depth understanding of investment products, the financial industry,and capital markets.

  • Knowledge of structuring and the operation of:MutualFunds, ETFs, SMAs, andCITs inU.S.jurisdictions.

  • Strategic thinker and self-starter to drive strategy for the product portfolio.

  • Analytical skills to translate information into strategic and tactical recommendations.

  • Communication skills to deliver presentations and create investment content for delivery through print and digital mediums.

  • Project management skills.

  • Teamplayerwith excellent interpersonal skills toestablishand maintain relationships with business groups at all levels of theorganization.

  • Experience using industry databases (e.g.Morningstar,eVestment,Simfund, Lipper, Bloomberg).

  • Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The salary for this position generally ranges between $135,000 - $148,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, the position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company's discretion.
