What does a training coordinator do?

A training coordinator oversees the employee training program for a company. The job of a training coordinator is to communicate with team leads and identify the training requirements for departments and individuals within the organization. As a training coordinator, your responsibilities include the development, management, and coordination of education sessions and programs. Some training coordinators are independent contractors, serving as freelance advisors to various companies, while others are direct Human Resources (HR) employees of a business.
