The Mission Trainer Team Lead is responsible for overseeing training operations and curriculum development in support of intelligence missions. This role requires deep knowledge of intelligence tradecraft, instructional design standards, and operational training delivery. The Mission Trainer Team Lead develops and delivers training programs across multiple geographic locations, ensuring alignment with intelligence objectives, doctrine, and operational standards. This position provides leadership in advancing training initiatives that enhance intelligence effectiveness, mission readiness, and professional development for military audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development & Delivery
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training materials that support intelligence goals, objectives, and tradecraft standards.
  • Draft and formulate lesson plans, curricula, presentations, and instructional materials in alignment with current education and training standards.
  • Instruct and conduct training for military audiences, adapting content to diverse learning environments and operational requirements.
  • Develop dynamic blocks of instruction on topics including but not limited to:
    • Information Sharing
    • Intelligence Reporting
    • Access to the Intelligence Community (IC)
    • Collaboration Platforms
    • Cross-Domain Solutions
    • Intelligence Enterprise Tools
    • Intelligence Community Resources
    • Inbound/Outbound M3 processes
    • Palantir Foundry
    • Boolean Logic
    • Program-of-record system workflows and tools

Curriculum & Standards Management
  • Review and assess emerging policy and doctrine publications to determine applicability for incorporation into training products.
  • Provide feedback on doctrine changes and recommend updates to training curricula.
  • Ensure all instructional materials align with intelligence education, tradecraft, and operational standards.

Training Operations & Systems
  • Utilize assigned education systems such as AGILE and Training Development Capability (TDC) to develop, maintain, and update training materials.
  • Manage training records and tracking systems to ensure compliance with government training requirements.
  • Plan and conduct training events across multiple U.S. geographic locations to meet mission needs.

Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead training initiatives and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of intelligence training programs.
  • Provide leadership and direction across training activities, ensuring high quality and consistency.
  • Maintain oversight of training schedules, materials, and instructional effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience conducting training across multiple geographic locations within the United States.
  • 5+ years of experience developing, drafting, and maintaining training materials or curricula aligned with established standards.
  • Demonstrated experience instructing military audiences in classroom and field environments.
  • Strong understanding of training design methodologies and instructional standards.
  • Ability to communicate complex intelligence concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline within the DoD or Intelligence Community (within the last 15 years), OR
  • Associate's degree with 12+ years of demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI level security clearance or higher

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
