What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Training Specialist to support a prominent, fast paced federal program focused on strengthening internal training and professional development. In this role, you will work closely with program leadership to design, enhance, and deliver training solutions that help teams across the organization perform at their best. You will contribute to a wide range of learning initiatives from developing new course content and refreshing existing materials, to planning lesson structures and crafting engaging written and visual training elements. This position offers the opportunity to support both virtual and in person engagement, including conferences, onboarding sessions, and staff wide learning events. A core part of the role involves maintaining a comprehensive internal training library, ensuring staff have access to clear, current, and well organized resources. You will also help modernize learning delivery by integrating new tools, technologies, and virtual training capabilities.
Additionally, you'll support compliance related training requirements by tracking deadlines, coordinating communications, and keeping leadership informed of progress. You will conduct quality checks on course content, identify areas for improvement, and recommend new subject areas based on evolving needs across the program.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity with structure and someone who can translate complex program information into effective learning experiences and who thrives in a highly collaborative environment.
What You Will Need:
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • FIVE(5) years of experience in training and development of training
  • Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week in Tysons Corner, VA
