Position Overview
Our classrooms are filled with music, art, storytelling, and hands-on learning that spark curiosity and joy. At La Esperanza, we believe great teachers bring heart, enthusiasm, and fun into the classroom every day.
La Esperanza Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher who is fluent in Spanish and English. The Lead Teacher will create and implement engaging lesson plans, guide assistant teachers, and foster a positive, structured learning environment for young children.
The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, culturally responsive, and committed to supporting the development of bilingual learners.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging lesson plans
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
• Promote Spanish language development in the classroom
• Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom floaters
• Maintain positive communication with families
• Observe and document children’s development and progress
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and learning environment
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures including all state licensing and accrediting organization regulations

Qualifications
• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
