About the Role
The Training Document & Compliance Coordinator provides essential administrative support for our manufacturing facility's training programs. This role focuses on writing clear technical training documents, tracking compliance using training matrices, and scheduling routine employee training. You will work closely with plant leadership and floor staff to ensure all mandatory and operational training remains up to date. This is an administrative, process-driven role ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at documentation and tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Document & Knowledge Management
  • Write and update clear, step-by-step manufacturing process and safety training documents.
  • Revise existing materials promptly when factory processes or equipment change.
  • Organize and maintain the factory's physical and digital document control systems.
  • Format training content into simple standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Training Tracking & Compliance Admin
  • Maintain the training matrix daily to track completed and pending employee qualifications.
  • Audit compliance records to ensure routine, mandatory trainings are completed on schedule.
  • Input and track training completions, compliance history, and course rosters within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Identify training gaps on the factory floor and alert supervisors to upcoming renewal deadlines.

Logistics & Floor Support
  • Coordinate logistics for New Hire Orientation and routine refresher training sessions.
  • Distribute qualification checklists to supervisors and archive them once completed.
  • Organize training materials and maintain supplies for the site training room.
  • Interact with operators on the production floor to verify document accuracy and hand out training materials.

Safety & Quality
  • Adhere to all plant safety rules and standard manufacturing regulations.
  • Ensure safety fundamentals and quality standards are clearly written into all training guides.

Qualifications
  • Experience writing technical documents, SOPs, or work instructions in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience managing data and tracking completion dates using a training matrix (Excel or LMS software).
  • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance deadlines.
  • Excellent formatting and grammar skills to make technical manufacturing tasks easy to understand.
  • Comfortable working in an office setting located inside an active production facility.
