About the Position
 
The Training Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s learning and development initiatives by ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of employee training programs. This role is responsible for managing training schedules, maintaining learning records and databases, tracking program participation and completion, and assisting with the administration of onboarding and professional development activities. This role contributes to key HR initiatives and projects while providing support across multiple functional areas, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and Training & Development, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives, and regulations.

Day in the Life

  • Assists in the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, content uploads, training assignments, and reporting for stakeholders.
  • Supports the implementation and integration of new HR technologies to enhance automation and improve the employee experience.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding HR, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development inquiries.
  • Supports reporting and tracking of outreach and engagement activities.
  •  Assists with open enrollment processes, including preparation of materials, employee support, and data auditing. 
  • Delivers high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists in administering employee surveys and analyzing/reporting results.
  • Partners with HR leadership to foster positive employee relations, enhance engagement, and support retention initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal HR policies, including labor law posting requirements.
  • Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
  • Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.
  • Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or related role.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as HRIS, LMS platforms, benefits administration tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and reports.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with employees at all levels. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
