Responsibilities:

Strategic Relationship Management & Growth

  • Revenue Expansion: Own the ongoing growth and performance of assigned partnerships, consistently identifying opportunities for increased sales volume and product adoption within the channel.
  • Sales Enablement: Coordinate product training, presentations, and webinars for prospective and current financial advisor clients within our Business Development universe.

Contracts, Negotiations and Compliance

  • Contract Negotiation: Partner with VP of Sales & Account Management on complex negotiations for Master Services Agreements (MSAs), partnership contracts, and subsequent renewals, ensuring favorable terms for pricing, service levels, and legal obligations.
  • Pricing Strategy: Coordinate with VP of Sales & Account Management and Sales Operations and Strategy on pricing discussions, negotiations and implementation.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure all partnership activities, contracts, and marketing materials adhere to strict regulatory and compliance requirements specific to our partners, the financial services industry, and SmartAsset.

Cobranding, Marketing & Enablement

  • Joint Marketing: Collaborate with the internal Marketing department and partner marketing teams to develop and execute targeted, co-branded marketing campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Content Development: Assist in creating high-quality partner-facing content, including pitch decks, training guides, and case studies.
  • Driving Inbound Interest: Collaborate with B2B marketing and SmartAsset Sales on strategies to drive inbound advisor prospects from our Business Development partners.
Skills/Experience you have:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, channel management, or strategic partnership management, specifically within the B2B financial services industry (FinTech, FinServ, Asset Management, Broker-Dealer, or RIA space).

  • Proven track record of leading complex contract and price negotiations with large enterprise organizations, including contract of Master Services Agreements and vendor review processes.

  • A proven ability to effectively collaborate across multiple departments including sales, marketing, legal, compliance, and product.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Skills/Experience preferred:
