Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for facilitating orientation using Alchemy system and executing the onboarding process for New Hires. Communicate company policies and procedures to ensure New Hires have solid understanding of what is expected. Complete all necessary paperwork associated with onboarding. Must be an engaging large-group communicator who contributes to the Orientation Team using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work closely with the Training Team to transition New Hires to the next phase of onboarding
  • Maintain excellent relationship with production supervisors, trainers, managers, and HR
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate mission, vision, values, and Creekstone Proud culture
  • Facilitate and lead large group discussions in positive and engaging ways
  • Facilitate new hire department tours
  • Set up orientation classes, e.g., New Hire packets, presentations, etc.
  • Ability to manage time and information in a high paced environment and with appropriate discretion
  • Must maintain a positive, flexible, and adaptable working style
  • Must be assertive, sensitive, and tactful in working with a diverse group of people
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Be able to work primarily in a classroom environment with some exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Prior beef industry experience is required
  • Functional with basic office technology, e.g., Microsoft Office, Internet navigation, etc.
  • Must be able to learn Alchemy software to a high level of competency
  • Must take initiative in problem-solving and project a positive, Creekstone Proud image
  • Facilitate all required employee trainings as assigned
  • Serve as a role model for all new hires in word and deed
  • Have a willingness to maintain and develop a high level of job skill competence
  • Discreet judgment and confidentiality are expected
  • Bilingual preferred
