Job description

A top client is seeking a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management to lead and scale its revenue cycle operations. This executive will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and building the processes, infrastructure, and capabilities needed to support continued growth.

The Vice President will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of revenue cycle management, including billing, claims submission, reimbursement, collections, denial management, compliance, and client delivery. The role will partner closely with executive leadership to improve performance, enhance service delivery, and support growth initiatives.

As the VP of Revenue Cycle Management, your responsibilities include:

  • Lead and oversee all revenue cycle management operations.
  • Drive improvements in collections, reimbursement, denial management, and overall operational performance.
  • Develop scalable processes, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing revenue cycle team.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable payer, billing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with leadership and business development teams to support organizational growth and success.
  • Serve as a strategic resource on revenue cycle best practices and performance improvement initiatives.

To be successful in the role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive revenue cycle management experience with significant leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid, managed care, and commercial reimbursement environments.
  • Proven experience building and leading teams while improving operational and financial performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience supporting community health centers, FQHCs, or safety-net healthcare organizations is preferred.
