Entry level Lime plant position - Operations Trainee Rate $28.72
Reports to: Production Supervisor May 2, 2026
POSITION SUMMARY
Graymont's Indian Creek Plant in Townsend, Montana plant is seeking an operations trainee expected to advance to the Tech I position. Successful candidates must possess a strong safety attitude, strong sense of teamwork and cooperation, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a self-directed work environment. This is a 24/7 operation and applicant will work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform all needed preshift examinations on all plant and mobile equipment.
โ€ข Load lime trucks & hydrate trucks
โ€ข Wash and clean assigned mobile equipment on a regular basis.
โ€ข Daily clean up and housekeeping
โ€ข Assist in kiln activities as assigned
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
โ€ข Safety oriented in every aspect of the job.
โ€ข Team player, proactive with strong multi-tasking skills.
โ€ข Mechanical aptitude with good trouble shooting skills
โ€ข Self-starter with ambition to improve overall plant atmosphere
โ€ข Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
โ€ข Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
