What is a reasonable per diem rate?

A reasonable per diem rate for a Per Diem Rating job typically aligns with federal or industry standards, often ranging from $50 to $150 per day depending on location, job responsibilities, and experience. Rates may vary based on the complexity of the work environment and the employer's policies, with some positions requiring specific certifications or skills that can influence compensation levels.

What is the 70 30 rule in hiring?

The 70/30 rule in hiring generally refers to the idea that 70% of a candidate's skills and experience should align with the job requirements, while 30% can be based on potential, attitude, or cultural fit. For roles like Per Diem Rating, this emphasizes assessing both technical competence and adaptability during the hiring process.

These roles often require extensive experience, certifications, or skills rather than formal education and may involve irregular schedules or self-employment.
