The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, where we are currently looking for a Part-Time Training Manager to join our team.What You'll Be Doing:Develop and manage training programs for shipyard industrial trades (welding, electrical, pipefitting, rigging, etc.)Deliver hands-on and classroom training, including onboarding and refresher coursesEnsure compliance with OSHA, NAVSEA, and contract requirementsMaintain training schedules, curricula, and qualification tracking systemsTrack and report training metrics, certifications, and workforce readinessDesign and update training materials, SOPs, and work instructionsEvaluate trainee performance and implement feedback and remediation plansSupport audits by maintaining accurate, audit-ready training recordsPartner with Operations, Safety, HR, and Quality teams to identify skill gaps and training needsWhat You'll Need to Succeed:Minimum:5+ years of experience in a shipyard, manufacturing, or industrial trades environment2+ years of experience in training, workforce development, or instructionStrong knowledge of industrial trades (mechanical, electrical, welding, etc.)Familiarity with OSHA standards and industrial safety practicesExperience delivering both hands-on and classroom trainingStrong communication, organization, and program management skillsPreferred:Experience supporting Navy/DoD shipyard or federal contracting environmentsTraining certifications (OSHA trainer, NCCER, or equivalent)Knowledge of NAVSEA standards and shipyard processesExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Work Environment:Combination of office, classroom, and active shipyard/industrial settingsRegular interaction with skilled trades personnelUse of PPE and adherence to shipyard safety protocols required Global – A 1st Flagship Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
