Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Shipfitters for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Pensacola, FL.


Long-term opportunity with 40+ hours per week and the potential to become a permanent employee!


  • PAY: $25–$29.50/hr. (depending on experience)
  • HOURS: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; approximately 40+ hours per week
  • START DATE: 08/12/2026
  • DURATION: Temp-to-hire


Shipfitter Job Description

Shipfitters will perform shipyard-related work. Specific job duties will be provided once the assignment is confirmed.


Qualifications for Shipfitters

  • 1+ year of shipyard experience required
  • Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
  • Must have reliable transportation to the job site


Additional Requirements

  • Must successfully complete a 5-panel drug screen
  • Must successfully complete a Basic + 1 Criminal background check
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
