Job Summary: 

Under the direct supervision of the Sr. CLS and Laboratory Supervisors, the Clinical Lab Scientist Trainee observes, trains, and performs a variety of laboratory tests/processes in all assigned areas within the laboratory.  Additionally, the CLS trainee intern operates and maintains equipment, performs and evaluates quality control, discusses and reviews patient's results without sending patient results. This position requires incumbents to schedule CLS exam for state licensure within four weeks of hire; and obtain CLS licensure within three months of hire.
