The Land O’Frost Management Trainee Program is designed for individuals ready to build a strong foundation in operations while developing the technical and leadership skills needed to become the next generation of leaders.


This structured, hands-on program develops and prepares trainees to take on critical challenges in production, food safety, and quality—areas that are essential to our continued success. You won’t just learn how our operations work; you’ll gain real-world experience, make meaningful contributions, and grow into a leader who helps shape the future of Land O’Frost.


Through mentorship, rotational experiences, and targeted development, trainees are equipped to step confidently into future technical and operations management roles. Must be willing to travel, relocate to the following areas: Lansing, IL, Searcy, AR and Madisonville, KY.

How YOU Will Contribute

  • Participate in an 18–24-month program consisting of up to four (4) to six (6)-month rotations that allow you to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training.
  • Participate in typical Operations Track rotations including required rotational assignments in each of the following: Food Safety, Quality and Production with a fourth rotation to be selected from one of the following: Supply Chain, Engineering, Research & Development, Environmental Health & Safety and Continuous Improvement.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and reside in the assigned business unit location (Lansing, IL, Searcy, AR and Madisonville, KY).
  • Ability to complete a learning project and at the end of the rotation period, give a presentation at the end of each rotation.


About YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, Food Science, or Quality preferred, or related fields required.
  • Consideration will also be given to candidates with degrees in Supply Chain, Engineering, Research & Development, Environmental Health and Safety and Continuous Improvement or related field. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in Operations track fields preferred.
  • MUST be willing to complete an 18–24-month program.
  • MUST be open to relocation to any site while in program. The locations included are Lansing, IL, Searcy, AR and Madisonville, KY.
