Position Overview

We are looking for experiencedAV Support Engineers – L2 Field Supportto provide onsite technical support for meeting room and audio-visual (AV) environments across multiple client locations.

This is anon-demand field support opportunity, where technicians will be contacted based on client requirements. Please note thatthe number of hours and frequency of assignments are not guaranteed.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience troubleshooting meeting room technologies, AV equipment, Microsoft Teams Rooms, network connectivity, and related peripherals.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Onsite Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose complex AV issues, including intermittent failures, device disconnects, poor call quality, and peripheral issues.
  • Collect MTR logs, Event Viewer logs, peripheral logs, and other technical information for remote team analysis.
  • Implement fixes based on SOPs and instructions provided by the remote support team.
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting and issue isolation.

New Meeting Room Setup & Build

  • Perform physical installation and setup of new meeting rooms according to approved designs.
  • Install and connect Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), consoles, cameras, DSPs, displays, and other peripherals.
  • Validate cabling, power, and peripheral integration.
  • Configure room systems, including account login, basic policies, and device pairing.
  • Conduct initial smoke testing and functional validation.

IMACD Activities – Install, Move, Add, Change & Decommission

  • Relocate meeting room equipment and restore full functionality.
  • Install, replace, or add cameras, microphones, speakers, consoles, and other AV peripherals.
  • Perform equipment decommissioning as required.

Advanced Configuration Support

  • Provide local hands-and-feet support to remote teams for predefined configurations through Teams Admin Center.
  • Support features such as:
    • Dual display
    • Content ingest
    • Proximity Join
    • Device pairing
  • Assist with basic DSP configuration and AV device integration.

Network & AV Issue Isolation

  • Perform physical port-level and VLAN checks in coordination with the network team.
  • Validate network switching, QoS markings, and physical network paths.
  • Determine whether issues are related to the network, hardware, peripherals, or application.
  • Work with OEM/vendor support teams such as Logitech, Poly, Crestron, and Microsoft during troubleshooting sessions.
  • Execute live troubleshooting steps onsite as directed by remote/OEM teams.
  • Assist with hardware RMA, replacement, and installation activities.

UAT & Meeting Room Certification

  • Perform detailed room testing, including:
    • Audio pickup and playback
    • Video quality and framing
    • Content sharing
    • Microsoft Teams meeting join scenarios
    • Camera, microphone, speaker, and display functionality
  • Validate rooms against defined standards and checklists.
  • Support UAT activities with business users and IT teams.
  • Assist with final sign-off and go-live readiness.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Update service tickets with detailed technical findings, troubleshooting steps, and resolution details.
  • Capture pre- and post-activity evidence, including photos and logs.
  • Maintain as-built documentation for newly installed meeting rooms.
  • Identify recurring issues and highlight potential improvements.
  • Previous experience inAV support, meeting room support, field services, or L2 desktop/AV support.
  • Hands-on experience with meeting room technologies and AV peripherals.
  • Experience supportingMicrosoft Teams Roomsis preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot AV, hardware, network, and connectivity issues onsite.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with remote support teams, vendors, and onsite users.
  • Technician must be able to speak the local languageof the assigned site/location.
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a field/on-demand environment.
  • Strong documentation and ticketing skills.
  • Must have reliable internet connectivity for onsite troubleshooting and coordination.
