Job description

Description:

Visionality, an established audio-video (A/V) reseller and systems integration firm headquartered in Texas, is expanding our team to support continued growth. As one of the Southwestโ€™s leading suppliers of audio/visual and video communications systems, our rapidly increasing installation base is driving major company growth. We are seeking hardworking, skilled A/V professionals to join our post-sales technical team. We offer a competitive base salary and a fast-paced, enjoyable work environment.

Position Summary

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design medium- to large-scale installed A/V systems.
  • Create complete design/proposal packages independently, including quotes, scopes of work, and customer-ready drawings.
  • Develop detailed drawing sets using established standards and CAD tools.
  • Support sales staff with A/V engineering knowledge throughout the proposal process.

Preferred Experience:

  • Extensive experience designing and supporting conferencing and collaboration systems for council/commission chambers, large classrooms, and operations centers.
  • Proficient with major control and integrated switching platforms, including Crestron, Kramer, QSC, and Extron.
  • Skilled in deploying professional audio systems from leading manufacturers such as Shure, Biamp, and QSC.

  • Experienced with wired and wireless microphone solutions as well as permanently installed audio systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • CTS certification required; CTS-D strongly preferred.
  • Additional certificationsโ€”such as DMC-E, DM-NVX, Biamp, Shure, Dante, and QSCโ€”are highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (Visio, Stardraw) and current networking standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, manage tight deadlines, and travel 10โ€“30%, primarily in-state.
  • Must successfully pass a local, state, and national background check.
