We have an opportunity for a TacMobile PGS Operator with in-depth knowledge of U.S. Navy TacMobile P-8A I3B2 Ground Station (PGS) equipment, systems, and emerging technologies supporting the P-8A Poseidon aircraft. The Operator SME is experienced and knowledgeable with US Navy TacMobile equipment and mission operations supporting the P8A aircraft. The position will provide support throughout the installation, developmental testing, and operational evaluation of the P-8A Increment 3 Block 2 Ground Station (PGS) and legacy TacMobile subsystems.ย 


The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter capable of providing advanced IT and systems administration support to U.S. Navy operations in both classified and unclassified network environments.


Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Assist the managing of the PGS subsystem and legacy TacMobile support equipment.
  • Help TacMobile as an analyst and performing duties as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Supporting curriculum development and classroom/lab instruction on the P-8A INC3 Blk2 Ground Station.
  • Creating mission events and building Preflight Insertion Data (PID) for INC3 Blk2 P-8A Poseidon Aircraft.
  • Research, analyze, and troubleshoot PGS subsystem faults. ย 
  • Developing and presenting technical status briefings and schedules as required.
  • Instruct classroom lectures and lab training to military, government, and contract employees. ย 
  • Work will be on classified and unclassified networks.ย 
  • This position will require up to 25% annual travel, both CONUS and OCONUS.ย

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in TacMobile
  • Navy level 400 Instructor for TacMobile Watch Operations, Analysis, and Expeditionary.ย 
  • Master Training Specialist.ย 
  • TOCRON Watch Officer, TacMobile analysis subsystem operator, and TacMobile advanced airborne sensor subsystem operator.ย 
  • TacMobile system deployment experience to 5th, 6th, and 7th fleets. TOC watch floor operational experience.ย 
  • Performed instruction with TOCRON Training Teams (TTT), operational readiness exercise (ORE), advanced readiness phase (ARP), and fleet instructor under instruction (FIUT).ย 
  • Must be proficient with the following systems/products: Minotaur applications and Minotaur Labyrinth, Common Operating Pictures (COP), Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS), legacy Fleet Releases and I3B2 Fleet Releases, ASPECT (Active System Performance Estimate Computer Tool), Adobe Systems, Cisco WebEx, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.ย 
  • Strong expertise in computer security, system administration, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience in classified environments supporting DoD or U.S. Navy IT systems.
  • DoD 8570 IAT-II compliance, required (e.g., Security+ CE and an OS certification, e.g., Linux or Windows). Please upload a copy of your certification(s).ย 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations, security management, or the IT field a plus.
  • Experience with Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Communications Security (COMSEC).ย 
  • Experience with training product drafting, curriculum development, and instruction systems design.ย 
  • Exposure with Linux user interfaces.
