Description
The Parts Sales Representative is responsible for driving trailer parts sales, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate inventory control. This role supports customers and internal teams by ensuring timely and accurate parts identification, ordering, and delivery for semi-trailers and related equipment.
Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in identifying and purchasing trailer parts, components, and accessories.
  • Provide expert product knowledge, pricing, and availability information.
  • Process orders accurately via phone, email, and in-person transactions.
  • Maintain inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Collaborate with service and sales departments to fulfill internal requests.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers for special orders and back orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Grow and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Work with outside sales to develop new accounts.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience in trailer parts sales, inside sales, or parts-related experience.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems; prior experience with CDK preferred.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret trailer parts diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Basic math skills, organization, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/shop environment.
