Job description

Yard-Trailer Specialist

The hourly pay rate is $22.70 per hour.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Receive returning trailers, unload, sort content or product and prepare for reuse.
  • Coordinates the movement of trailers with the drivers and records returned content.
  • Check and all incoming equipment and trailers for damage and report.
  • Monitor the condition/cleanliness of all doc doors and fix/clean when necessary.
  • Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts to remove all incoming product from the trailers.
  • Monitory all temperatures, safely hitch and unhitch all trailers when necessary.
  • All Sr. level specialist may operate gas powered equipment to move trailers.
  • Perform inventory tasks when needed and asked, also, other duties maybe assigned.

Requirements include:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, also, CDL training preferred if utilizing the tractor.
  • Must have good work ethic, manual dexterity and above average physical condition.
  • The ability to read, recite, give direction, basic math and basic computer operation.
  • Must have clean driving record and CDL eligibility for senior level designation.
  • The ability to lift 80lbs consistently in multiple departments and temperatures.
  • Applicants must have good interpersonal relations skills, the ability to work well under high pressure and must set a good example by following all rules and guidelines.
