Construction Laborer (Concrete / General)

Position Summary
Performs a variety of physical labor tasks supporting concrete and commercial construction activities. Responsible for site preparation, material handling, assisting skilled trades, and maintaining a safe, clean jobsite.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general construction labor including jobsite cleanup and moving materials by hand
  • Operate motorized equipment and power tools after training and authorization
  • Assist setting forms and wall panel forms; pour and place flatwork/vertical concrete
  • Support concrete placement: pull rebar, operate vibrator, guide chute or pump hose, screed/come-along operations
  • Handle and store materials; load/unload trucks; haul and hoist materials
  • Service small equipment (pumps, compressors, generators)
  • Dig, clean, or spot trenches; assist with water/sewer/storm piping
  • Secure jobsite daily; eliminate hazards and maintain site safety
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of construction labor experience
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation; travel up to 75 miles to job site
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and heavier loads with assistance; ability to perform strenuous labor in adverse conditions
  • Familiarity with common hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Carry basic personal tools (tool belt, hammer, square, level, chalk line, pry bar, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Card (training available)
Work Environment / Travel
Field-based role with travel across the four-state area (MO/KS/OK/AR) and beyond as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation depends on experience.
