Job Title: Trade IT Functional Support Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

ROLE_DESCRIPTION -

We are seeking an experienced Trade IT Functional Support Analyst to provide front-office trading support for a brokerage and Order Management System (OMS) environment. The successful candidate will work directly on the trading floor, supporting traders and ensuring the smooth processing of trades throughout the complete trade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Provide functional expertise in brokerage with OMS-based trading support environments.

Monitor the full trade lifecycle| ensuring accurate processing from execution through settlement.

Perform daily trade reconciliations across internal systems| clearing firms| and custodians| resolving breaks and settlement issues.

Act as the primary point of contact for front-office traders| clients| and internal partners to resolve production issues and inquiries.

Identify operational risks| conduct root cause analysis| and implement process improvements.

Produce and validate daily and weekly management reports and trading metrics.

Participate in system testing and support the implementation of technology enhancements.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience in a front office or trading support role within a financial institution.

Strong verbal and written communication skills| with the ability to interact confidently with traders and clients.

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment.

Solid understanding of financial instruments| including equities| fixed income| and derivatives.

High attention to detail when managing high volume transactions under tight deadlines.
