Job description

Who You'll Work With:

We are seeking a Nashville, Tennessee based Analyst to join our Trade Support / Confirmations Team. Alliance Bernstein Middle Office (ABMO) serves as the primary operational liaison for all AB Trading Desks. The team is responsible for overseeing trades within the relevant order management systems, ensuring they are processed correctly downstream. In the event of any issues, ABMO coordinates solutions with Trading, Compliance, and both internal and external parties to achieve resolution. Additionally, the team manages trade confirmations with brokers and clearers, collateral processing, and the settlements process.

What You'll Do:

Perform various trade support tasks, including trade allocations, rebooking, and confirmation. Serve as an escalation contact for any trade settlement issues that arise post-confirmation. The individual will be expected to work as part of a global team and must communicate effectively with various internal and external clients. The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Allocate trades across all products in the relevant order management systems.

  • Provide real-time support to 3 trading desks and Portfolio management teams to ensure accurate capture of trade details and economics.

  • Support AllianceBernstein ETF Operations

  • Confirmation, Affirmation and instruction of all Equity Trades

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders / brokers on resolution of any trade discrepancies due to commissions, fees, settlement location, Corporate Action events etc.

  • Ensure proper handling and resolution of all settlement issues, buy-ins.

  • Resolution of claims issued by brokers and custodians.

  • Oversight of offshore confirmation and settlement teams

  • Listed Derivative Trade instruction, Clearance and break management

  • Listed Option Clearance and Premium Settlement

  • Qualifications, Experience, and Education: The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting or another relevant discipline. Experience in Trade Support, working with a team environment with time sensitive deadlines is desired.

  • Skills: Our team members typically have track records of outstanding professional performance or academic achievement, along with excellent analytical skills, financial skills, technical skills, attention to detail as well as strong communication skills. Candidates should have a strong ability to work and manage in a collaborative environment and to present results to both expert and non-expert audiences.

  • Special Knowledge (if applicable): The Candidate should be outgoing, possess strong communication skills, work well in a team setting, and handle change with a positive outlook.
