Job description

Trade Desk Operations Engineer (European Coverage) position at a proprietary trading firm in Chicago. The role involves supporting the operation of the firm's automated trading system during European trading hours, monitoring system status, dealing with trading exceptions, and participating in follow-on investigation for root cause analysis. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, at least 2 years of relevant work experience, knowledge of markets and trading, proficiency with UNIX/Linux and Windows, proficiency in a programming language, and the ability to work independently under pressure. Series 7 or 57 is preferred.
