Job description

Position Summary:

This position utilizes excellent customer service and problem solving skills to confidently provide information and education to our customers in a timely, efficient, professional manner; provides clear and accurate responses to customer questions primarily through inbound phone calls; appropriately researches and resolves problems relating to customer accounts and inquiries; meets established performance expectations; develops a comprehensive operational understanding of the financial services industry; proactively learns and remains up-to-date with the Company's products and services.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and informative answers via phone calls to clients and internal partners
  • Assist clients with complex order execution, margin treatment, and risk-related inquiries
  • Analyze client positions and provide updates regarding expiring positions or procedures and addressing related margin calls
  • Provide extended support to clients in the way of corporate actions and dividends
  • Effectively communicate ETRADE policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, as they relate to various client scenarios
  • Manage daily volume of inbound calls and inquiries submitted via Teams channels
  • Identify opportunities to refer clients to a Morgan Stanley Advisor for advice

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Registrations: SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Mass Registration, Trader Certification
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of customer-facing, brokerage experience with significant acumen regarding derivatives trading, margin treatment, and risk management

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the securities industry and regulations with a particular emphasis on derivatives trading
  • Proven background in trading-focused role with extensive knowledge of margin treatment and risk management
  • Familiarity with Portfolio Margin accounts and treatment
  • Ability to work independently and utilize decision-making skills to address and resolve client issues
  • Strong work ethic, extraordinary interpersonal skills, and team orientation

Salary range for the position: $58,000.00 and $115,000.00 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
