Job description

A Career with Point72's Operations Team
Point72's Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and digital assets across global markets.
What you'll do
  • Support a high-impact control function with direct visibility into investment performance across a global equities trading platform
  • Reconcile daily equities, options, CFDs, swaps, and FX transactions before market close to reduce operational risk
  • Ensure timely settlement of equity trades by identifying breaks, investigating root causes, and resolving issues
  • Verify positions against prime brokers and swap providers to maintain accurate books and records across traded products
  • Coordinate with portfolio managers, traders, counterparties, and control teams to resolve trade, settlement, risk, treasury, legal, and compliance issues
  • Review and process voluntary and mandatory corporate actions while communicating position implications to trading teams and brokers
  • Monitor and reduce foreign currency exposure related to profit and loss, depositary receipts, and dollarized swaps through FX transactions
  • Execute spot FX transactions to support accurate settlement of securities traded in non-deliverable forward markets
  • Provide middle-office trade support for trade bookings, trade verification, corporate actions, profit and loss, technology matters, and legal-related issues

What's required
  • Two years of experience in a financial institution or hedge fund
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Excel for trade reconciliation, data analysis, and operational reporting
  • Ability to support daily trade confirmation, settlement, position verification, and issue resolution across equities and related products
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and sound decision-making
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy, controls, and operational excellence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with trading teams, counterparties, and offshore partners
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment
