Job description

  • Support a high-profile trading floor environment within a major financial services organization.
  • Provide real-time technical support to traders and front-office users, where minimizing downtime is critical.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving:
    • Trading applications and platforms
    • Market data services (Bloomberg, Reuters/Eikon, ICE)
    • Desktop support
    • Network connectivity
    • Windows and basic Linux environments
  • Monitor trading system performance and ensure maximum uptime during market hours.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, and Application Support teams to resolve complex incidents.
  • Create documentation, knowledge base articles, and maintain compliance with operational standards.
  • Ideal for someone with 10+ years of trade floor/front office support experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong preference for candidates with:
    • Capital markets or financial services experience
    • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Shell)
    • Understanding of trading workflows and financial products
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
