## Senior Trade Compliance SpecialistApplylocations: Chaska, MNtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ-13241**Job Title:**Senior Trade Compliance Specialist**Job Description:****The Role:**Our **Chaska, MN** site is seeking an experienced **Senior Trade Compliance Specialist**to join our team. This role is responsible for leading a broad range of advanced export compliance activities, including oversight of AES filings, export licensing strategy and execution, internal audits, and comprehensive recordkeeping in accordance with U.S. export regulations.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Lead complex export compliance activities and serve as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations while driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives.* Leads process improvements, audits, investigations, and corrective actions* Influences stakeholders and drives compliance initiatives with minimal supervision**What You’ll Do:*** Support Global Trade Services (GTS) compliance activities—including system testing, maintenance support, and the release of blocked documents—while resolving issues in collaboration with Customer Service, Product Management, and Shipping teams.* Oversee customer and destination screening to ensure alignment with denied party lists, embargoed country regulations, and other restricted‐party requirements.* Lead the accurate and timely submission of Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings in the Automated Export System (AES), ensuring adherence to all regulatory timelines.* Manage export licensing activities, including license determinations, applications, renewals, proviso management, recordkeeping, and stakeholder communications.* Provide support for AgilePoint‐based compliance workflows as needed.* Ensure accurate maintenance of ECCN classifications, HTS codes, and country‐of‐origin data across SAP, GTS, and other corporate systems.* Develop, maintain and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistent and compliant trade practices.* Monitor compliance KPIs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and compliance effectiveness.* Ensure all export activities comply with applicable regulations—including OFAC, EAR, ITAR, DEA, FDA, CBP and other relevant U.S. and international export control requirements.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing procedures, strengthening controls, improving workflows, and enhancing compliance program effectiveness.* Provide training and mentorship by coaching less-experienced team members, sharing technical expertise, and increasing organizational compliance awareness.**What We Seek:*** Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Law, or related field in a global manufacturing environment.* Experience with SAP GTS or other global trade management systems, including compliance controls, screening, licensing, and trade data governance.* Demonstrated expertise in export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, classification (ECCN/HTS), country of origin, and trade compliance program requirements.* Proven ability to independently manage complex compliance matters, lead projects, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with minimal supervision.* Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.* Proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and meet critical deadlines in a fast‐paced environment**What We Offer:**Our total rewards package goes above and beyond just a paycheck.
