Fraud Analyst

Must Have Skills (Most Important):

  • 2 years analytical experience in a fraud control environment.
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, emails.
  • Focused individual who is comfortable with multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to make good judgement calls.
  • Detail oriented
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Team player with the ability to think out of the box.
  • Strong integrity

Desired Skills:

  • Credit card industry experience a plus.

Job Duties:

  • Daily review of Credit Card transactions captured via the tracfone and visible websites.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Use direct customer information tools to contact and interview customers to validate credit card orders and mitigate risk of fraud losses.
  • Render approval or decline decisions within SLA time period to minimize order delay impact to customers by rendering timely decisions on high risk orders in review queues.
  • Execute direct and timely communications with customers and internal departments to ensure prompt resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify suspicious orders/patterns and present summary of findings and recommend actions to prevent fraud.
  • Ensure prompt deactivation of handsets purchased fraudulently.
  • Effectively manage additions and removal of customers from Negative Lists to prevent fraud or allow orders when card holder identity is verified and/or losses are recovered from customer.

Education/Certifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

Logistics:

  • Regular business hours. Occasional overtime or weekend work but exceptional in case of emergencies.
