Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

The Requirements and Traceability Lead manages requirements engineering activities, ensuring full traceability from mission requirements through system implementation. Responsibilities * Work closely with the PM and Chief Architect to manage government timelines and deliverables. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements and existing processes.

* Develop requirements management environment and traceability processes to support informed architectural decisions. * Establish and sustain an authoritative enterprise architecture baseline. * Maintain requirements traceability matrices across systems and programs.

* Conduct technical exchanges with stakeholders to assess feasibility and identify best-fit integration approaches aligned to approved architecture. * Ensure alignment between requirements and system capabilities. * Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and leadership.

* Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field. * 12 years of experience in requirements engineering or systems engineering. * Experience with requirements management tools.

* Active TS / SCI security clearance required Preferred Qualifications: * Experience supporting DoD enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or digital modernization initiatives. * Hands-on experience with requirements management and traceability tools such as IBM DOORS, Jama, Jira, or Cameo. * Familiarity with DoDAF, MBSE, systems integration, and requirements traceability across complex multi-system environments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to work on site 5 days a week * Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting * Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals * Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others. * Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications * Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues. * Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
