Job Description:
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales and goal. This role involves presenting our products to new, current and potential buyers and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.


Duties

  • Oversee local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
  • Create marketing / sales plan
  • Identify emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
  • Recommend products or merchandise to help customers/buyers
  • Answer questions from buyers/customers and address concerns
  • Use excellent verbal communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers
  • Advise distributors and dealers on polices and standard operating procedures
  • Present new product ideas based on customers feedback
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Close deals and process payments
  • Work with product development and wholesale counterparts as needed
  • Cooperate with outsourcing sales representative
  • Plan and manage tradeshows or public events


Sales Requirements:

  • Knowledge in Toys and or Gift (plush toys) is a plus
  • Determine monthly and annual sales plan by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results.
  • Present sales report to management and forecast annual projections and or expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the toy industry (retailers, distributors, and specialty stores)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to increase sales and ensure reorders.
  • Present current products to buyers highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Negotiating price and terms to meet both company objectives and customer needs.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on leads, inquiries, and customer requests.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending meetings/ trade shows.
  • Will need to travel for meetings/ trade shows.
  • Must be able to communicate and transfer data to corresponding team
  • Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced work ethic/environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the toy, retail, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of the toy market, including trends and buying cycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Quick Book
