POSITION SUMMARY:
Dishwashers help keep our kitchens clean and running smoothly by washing dishes, maintaining sanitation, and supporting the food & beverage team. This fast-paced role is key to keeping things efficient and safe behind the scenes. Positions are available at various locations on and around the mountain-placement will be determined upon hire.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
WAGE:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's hourly pay/salary range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resort's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Hourly pay range: $18
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Wash large volumes of dishes, utensils, and food service equipment for high volume restaurants.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as directed.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers at all times.
  • Comply with uniform and personal appearance standards.
  • Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
  • Support bussing tasks in guest areas as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment
  • Lift approximately 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Adhere to all safety policies.
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handler and Allergy training certificate or must attend Food Handler and Allergy training certification courses for Alterra Mountain Company within 14 days of employment (provided).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:
  • Food and Beverage experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Lift approximately 30-50 lbs. on a regular basis
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions.
  • Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
