Your mission

The Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the company has an effective total rewards offering in place in North America, enabling the leaders to attract, retain and lead employees to execute the company's strategy and reach its business goals. You will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of policies, processes, practices and tools required to manage the total rewards offering in North America. Furthermore, you will be in charge of ensuring that the practices are consistent, in compliance with external regulation as well as internal policies, and promote fairness and equality.

This position offers the possibility for remote work. 

Key responsibilities
  • Plan annual activities and development initiatives for own area of responsibility on both short- and long-term
  • Responsible for maintaining a total rewards annual cycle and development roadmaps to promote clarity and enable follow-up
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the total rewards structure in the US in close collaboration with the Hiab global Performance and Rewards team, and in line with the Hiab's global policies and guidelines. The total rewards structure includes elements such as: base salary, employee benefits, short- and long-term incentives, sales incentives, recognition awards and retirement savings programs
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the total reward practices and initiates changes that improve effectiveness, cost-efficiency, and/or competitiveness of the offering
  • Design fit-for-purpose reward solutions to support businesses with their challenges, where rewards can be seen as a possible driver
  • Continuously monitor market competitiveness of the total reward offering, and make fact based development recommendations
  • Develop techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data to facilitate and drive effective decision making
  • Ensure compliance of rewards practices  with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations and company internal policies
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate records.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience as Rewards Manager or similar capacity, with solid knowledge on different total remuneration elements
  • Proven track record of having managed and developed policies, processes, practices and/or tools for benefits, base salary, variable compensation
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to benefits, fixed and variable compensation programs, company policies, and operations
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive informed decision-making
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and organizational dynamics
  • Fluent written and verbal English.
