Job description

Mama Margie's believes a great tasting Mexican meal starts with the tortilla and our tortillas are made from scratch 24 hours a day! You must be passionate about serving a Great tasting tortilla and have knowledge and experience making tortillas and working with commercial equipment.
Your duties include but are not limited to preparing flour and corn tortilla dough from scratch according to Mama Margie Recipes, cooking tortillas on a flat top grill, and following all health and safety standards, while maintaining a clean work area.
You must be dependable, able to work in a fast paced environment, able to work harmoniously with other employees, be able to operate commercial kitchen equipment, be willing to assist other positions in the restaurant as needed (including washing dishes), and be able to work weekends and holidays including Christmas.
This position also requires, by way of example the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, being able to stand up to 9 hours, use motion that entails pushing, pulling, bending, stretching and continuous use of fingers and wrists, and tolerate extreme kitchen temperatures at times.
