Job description

International Logistics Manager

Role Summary

Topps Trading Cards, a division of Fanatics Collectibles, is seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager to lead and optimize the companys international outbound logistics operations. This role will be responsible for managing export air freight across global markets, coordinating closely with international third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and ensuring seamless movement of goods to meet customer delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Export Operations

  • Lead and manage all import and export activities (across airfreight and ocean), with a strong emphasis on high-value and time-sensitive trading card shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and documentation.
  • Work with warehouse and production teams to coordinate timely delivery of goods, appropriate packaging, and on-time hand-over to carriers.
  • Monitor and analyze freight spend, transit times, and service reliability to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work with our international operations teams to coordinate delivery and fulfillment of exported products.

Global Logistics Strategy & Execution

  • Develop logistics strategies that align with the companys global expansion plans and seasonal demand spikes.
  • Partner with Sales, Demand Planning, Customer Experience, and Product teams to forecast logistics needs and execute against timelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce cost, improve service, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of import/export compliance requirements (e.g., Incoterms, HS codes, export licensing).

3PL Relationship Management

  • Develop strong, collaborative partnerships with international third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless global distribution, order fulfillment, and warehousing operations.
  • Align closely with 3PL partners to co-develop logistics strategies, resolve service challenges, and implement best practices tailored to regional needs and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a key conduit between Topps and its global logistics network, fostering open communication and driving continuous improvement through joint performance reviews and innovation initiatives.
  • Support integration efforts with new 3PLs in emerging markets, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in international logistics, with a strong emphasis on air & ocean freight export management.
  • Proven success managing relationships with international 3PLs and freight forwarders.
  • Deep knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs clearance, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in logistics platforms (e.g., Extensiv, SAP, Oracle, CargoWise, or similar).

Preferred:

  • Experience in consumer goods or collectibles industry.
  • Working knowledge of EDI/API integrations with logistics partners.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) a plus.
