Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to support our surveying and mapping team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing accurate, high-quality drawings related to topographic surveys, easements, exhibits, plats, and construction-related maps.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare topographic survey maps, site plans, and base files using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Create and update easement documents, legal exhibits, and boundary-related drawings.
  • Produce clear, precise survey maps, figures, and deliverables that meet company and client standards.
  • Interpret field notes, sketches, point files, and survey data to develop accurate drawings.
  • Coordinate with survey coordinators, field crews, and office staff to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organized CAD files and adhere to drafting standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience drafting topo maps, easements, plats, or survey-related drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret survey data.
