• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to accurately assess client needs and create individualized treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans that cater to the unique requirements of clients across diverse backgrounds.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support client growth.
• Document case histories and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to integrate holistic care approaches.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Engage with families and primary caregivers by providing guidance and resources to manage mental health challenges in home environments.
• Stay current with emerging trends and developments in mental health care, applying this knowledge to enhance your practice.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing a range of mental health disorders, behavioral challenges, and emotional distress. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to make impactful differences in their lives through your compassionate care and expertise.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R to practice in New York State.
• A successful performance on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong understanding of psychotherapy techniques and mental health diagnosis.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, with experience in AVATAR being a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients and other professionals.
• Empathy, remarkable interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to client advocacy.

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a telehealth environment.
• Familiarity with addiction disorders and co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions.
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and treatment guidelines.
• In-depth awareness of the effects of psychotropic medications as they relate to client treatment plans.

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflective of your experience and qualifications, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
