This role is entirely remote, enabling you to integrate work and life seamlessly. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll utilize our Telehealth platform to connect with clients and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions. • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Initiate the process by performing detailed mental health evaluations, documenting client cases from the initial consultation through to treatment completion.
• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create tailored intervention and recovery plans that address their unique mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs.
• Facilitate Therapy Sessions: Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and resilience.
• Monitor Client Progress: Regularly assess and document progress in mental health treatment plans to ensure effective and timely interventions.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with psychiatrists, physicians, and other therapists to create comprehensive intervention strategies and manage referrals effectively.
• Prevent Relapse: Identify and intervene in behaviors that might hinder recovery, offering practical strategies for clients and their families.
• Support Family Caregivers: Provide guidance and resources to family members assisting clients in managing their mental health challenges effectively.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
• Successful completion of the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and compassionately.

• Prior experience working as a mental health counselor within a telehealth framework, particularly with clients facing mental health and addiction challenges.
• A thorough understanding of the methodologies outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and an in-depth knowledge of how medications can impact client care.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong empathetic nature, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients effectively.
