Job description

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Graduate Nurse looking to start your nursing career? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, an award-winning 135-bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term rehab and long-term care. As a Graduate Nurse, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to provide top-notch care to our residents.

Hourly rate ranges from $35 to $42 for LPNs and $42 to $49 for RNs, depending on the shift. Weekly pay!

Responsibilities:

  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident

  • Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care

  • Follow physician's orders and render or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders

  • Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes

  • Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs

  • Administer medication according to procedure

  • Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of the facility and your specific job description

  • Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies and Procedures and protect residents' individual health information

  • Other duties assigned by Director of Nursing and other managerial team members

Requirements:

  • Must have graduated from a Massachusetts board-approved nursing education program within one year of hire date

  • Can be an LPN or RN

  • Must provide documentation from your nursing program showing your graduation date

  • Must provide proof of scheduled NCLEX licensure exam within 90 days of hire

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
