SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health Medical Group - Family Practice Colonial Park is seeking a Medical Office Associate (MOA) to join their team! This office is situated off Colonial Road in Harrisburg and houses internal medicine, family practice, and a Walk-in lab. The Family Practice Colonial Park office sees an average of 100 patients a day and operates thoroughly on a weekday schedule.
The hired MOA will be expected to check patients in and out of appointments, schedule patients for follow-up visits, collect patient co-pays and balances, as well as handle insurance verification. The MOA will also be handling incoming/outgoing phone calls, faxes, and other asynchronous duties as assigned.
The ideal Medical Office Associate for this office will be flexible as a team player to ensure all work is completed in the office. Have an interest in training and learning more about family and internal medicine - Family Practice Colonial Park is the office for you!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
