Job description

Description: To support the continued development of AI automation and tooling capabilities, we are requesting the onboarding of a contractor to assist with critical tasks in Eldora, Deus/Euclid, and Elroy projects. These initiatives require ongoing automation efforts to optimize efficiency and ensure seamless system functionality. The contractor will accelerate progress in the following key areas: Establish a "First Level of Defense" (L1 Triage): The contractor will deploy automated gatekeeping systems to handle initial failure analysis by deploying AI agents.

This includes automated setup-health checks, sideband diagnostics, and Beagle trace pre-screening, resolving routine issues before they require escalation to a full-time engineer. Intelligent Triage Optimization: Streamline the identification and routing of issues across our toolset. By automating the "discovery" phase of a defect, we significantly reduce the Mean Time to Resolve and improve overall testing velocity.

Engineering Bandwidth Protection: By filtering out repetitive tasks and known setup issues through automation, we protect the core team’s bandwidth, allowing them to concentrate on high-complexity architecture and "show-stopper" project milestones. Scalable Productivity: Replace manual, linear triage workflows with scalable AI-driven processes. This ensures that as test volume increases for Elroy and Eldora, our triage capacity scales without requiring additional permanent headcount.

Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Python and experience with hands-on experience in automation frameworks. Experience working with NVMe/storage firmware validation or similar hardware-software system environments. Hands-on experience in log analysis and trace diagnostics (e.g., Protocol Analyzers, Beagle trace).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems. Solid understanding of automated triage tools and their application in improving workflows. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI and machine learning algorithms to enhance automation processes.

Familiarity with additional diagnostic and debugging tools. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
