JOB SUMMARY:
The FP&A Systems & Reporting Analyst is responsible for building and Maintaining TMG's enterprise reporting and analytics environment that supports financial planning, forecasting, KPI visibility, and decision- making across the organization. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, Shared Services and IT/Data to ensure TMG operates from a reliable, automated and governed reporting environment.
The Analyst plays a key role in modernizing how data is used for planning and performance management by improving KPI consistency, data quality, reporting automation, and dashboard adoption across departments.
This position upholds TMG Mission and Core Values. This position requires exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to)
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development & KPI Standardization
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards for Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, and Shared Services.
  • Standardize KPI definitions, business rules, refresh SLAs, and metric formulas so every department operates from a unified "single source of truth."
  • Support the Senior Director in developing the Finance Reporting Playbook and enterprise Data Dictionary.

Data Quality, Validation & Controls
  • Build and execute daily/weekly data validations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment between ERP, POS, retail, fuel, and tobacco systems.
  • Implement data quality controls, reconciliation routines, and automated alerts for exceptions and anomalies.
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining system generated evidence and controlled reporting structures-reducing reliance on manual reporting and spreadsheet-based processes.

Fabric Governance, Architecture & Automation
  • Manage dataset architecture, semantic models, row level security (RLS), and refresh reliability in partnership with IT/Data.
  • Automate recurring reporting using Power BI, pipelines, and Power Automate where appropriate.
  • Build self-service analytics tools and training that reduce ad hoc spreadsheet reliance across the business.

System Initiatives Support (Budgeting System & ERP)
  • Support the Senior Director in implementing TMG's new budgeting & forecasting tool, including dataset validation, integrations, and analytics visualizations built in Fabric.
  • Assist with ERP transformation through data mapping, reporting requirement definitions, and design/testing of new ERP outputs that flow into Fabric reporting structures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with POS systems, back-office software, or ERP integrations.
  • Familiarity with petroleum compliance data (UST, inspections, transactions, fuel pricing).
  • Ability to write clear process documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, 365, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with business reporting requirements for retail, petroleum, and tobacco industries, a plus.
  • Understanding inventory management, pricing systems, or compliance requirements in relevant industries is a plus.
  • Experience working within Native American territories or Tribal communities.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Involves sedentary, office-based work performed in an on-site or hybrid environment.
  • Required to sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation, with occasional standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers is required to operate computers, keyboards, mice, phones, and other standard office and technology equipment.
  • The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing during meetings, training sessions, phone calls, and virtual conferences.
  • Visual acuity is required for reading, analyzing, and validating data; reviewing documentation; and working with computer screens and system reports.
  • The employee may occasionally be required to lift, carry, or move office materials such as files, paper records, or equipment weighing up to 10-15 pounds.
  • The role may involve periodic movement between departments or meetings within the workplace.
