Job description

The Millennium Group (TMG) is an award-winning business process outsourcing firm focused on print, mail, document scanning, reception, and related office support services for Fortune 500 companies, professional service firms, and institutions of higher education. TMG is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players interested in a career rather than just a job. With a team of over 1,500 nationwide associates, TMG is seeking an individual who can uniquely contribute to our 30+ years of success in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Associate will demonstrate outstanding customer service.
  • Associate will provide services to support day-to-day business activities related to inbound and outbound mail/packages/freight/copying.
  • Associate will ensure daily distribution and shipping of mail/packages/freight to customers.
  • Associate will provide Mail Service minimally at the following frequency.
  • Mail is picked up from the post office each morning. Mail is sorted and placed in the appropriate bin outside the mailroom. Outgoing mail is collected twice per day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon from the drop boxes on the floor.
  • Associate will ensure that parcels are delivered to and signed for by each employee or their designee.
  • Associate will perform mail fulfillment (insert, seal, post,etc.)
  • Associate will staff a customer counter for interactions with internal customers.
  • Associate will maintain the following hours of operation - 8am - 5pm Monday thru Friday excluding holidays.
  • Operate and maintain high volume xerographic and finishing equipment.
  • Perform copying/printing/fishing of digital print and work, binding, and lamination.
  • Acts as Key Operator, identifying equipment problems, performing minor repairs to xerographic equipment or arranging for repair service; operates high volume xerographic equipment as needed.
  • Track copier usage and manages materials in an efficient manner.
  • Perform routine cleaning for convenience copiers.
  • Coordinate paper restock in Print Center.
  • Maintain logs of related actions such as department charge back sheet.
  • Keep logs for machine service calls.
  • Coordinate workflow of all reprographic requests.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products pertaining to the specific position including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of production print and finishing/bindery equipment; utilization of typical office services equipment and technology strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mail sorting and shipping.
  • Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable, and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting.
  • Ability to learn skills quickly.
  • Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects- demonstrated ability to multi-task a must.
  • Ability to lift or move 50 lbs. or greater.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc).
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
