WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to serve as Manager, Recruitment & Admissions on the new Per Scholas Greater Milwaukee team. The right candidate will represent Per Scholas across the Greater Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin region - including sharing the Per Scholas history, mission, outcomes, and admissions process and requirements with prospective learners and applicants. Recruitment of prospective learners will be conducted in many ways, including digital channels, referral partners, and community outreach. The Manager, Recruitment and Admissions, will also consistently review applicant pipeline data to make data-driven recommendations to enhance the applicant experience, and increase conversion throughout the admissions process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Recruit viable candidates for Per Scholas training courses.
  • Manage a rigorous outreach and admissions process throughout its entire lifecycle, ensuring targets and benchmarks for recruitment and admissions are achieved.
  • Track, organize, and be prepared to report on recruitment and enrollment data in Salesforce, particularly in comparison to site and organizational goals and grant deliverables.
  • In partnership with the Managing Director, manage relationships at referral partner organizations to sustain a pipeline of highly-qualified candidates for training.
  • Attend networking events to increase Per Scholas’ visibility in the community.
  • Communicate with candidates including notifying applicants of their acceptance status
  • Conduct presentations and administer off-site information sessions as needed.
  • Ensure all data regarding stakeholder groups (applicants, learners, community-based organizations, etc.) is accurately entered in Salesforce regularly.
  • Work with the Per Scholas Marketing and Communications and National Recruitment teams to run recruitment ads on digital channels and ensure that needed revisions to collateral materials are timely.
  • Make referrals to supportive services and/or alternative programs for applicants, as appropriate.
  • Partner with the Government Contracts team to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for all government contracts.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of class kickoffs and graduations.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by campus leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US Professional Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience in recruitment and admissions in education and/or workforce development
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of business needs and how to source talent to meet those needs
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel; knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines
  • Prior knowledge or background in IT and a passion for technology is a plus
  • Strong technical aptitude and organizational skills
  • Strong follow-up skills

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary between $60,000-$65,000 where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualification and experience.

Holidays & PTO: Full-TimePer Scholas team members enjoy over 40 days of paid time off each year through a mix of holidays, vacation, and sick/personal time! All employees are eligible for Holiday pay upon hire (a total of 22 holidays annually, including a week off for Independence day and a week before the New Year). Full-Time Benefits Eligible employees also receive 80 Wellness Hours to use for Sick, Safe, or Personal reasons and accrue Vacation at a rate of 8 hours at the beginning of every month, supporting rest, recharge, and work-life balance. Vacation accruals increase with tenure. Part-time employees are afforded time off on a prorated basis and in accordance with local requirements.

Dental and Vision Insurance: Eligible employees can select from two dental plan options and a vision plan. Employees who waive medical coverage receive employer paid dental and vision premiums.

Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with a current 100% employer match on contributions up to 6%, eligible employees are offered entry and full vesting after 90 days with the company.
