Job description

Tinker Federal Credit Union's Business Services department has an immediate opening for a Commercial Loan Assistant I, II, III or Senior! As a Commercial Loan Assistant I, II, III or Senior, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Processing loan documents (development and maintenance), assisting of loan closures, and serving as a secondary resource to our members in a variety of areas.
  • Corresponding by various means of communication and serve as a member gateway resource. In areas not covered by Business services, they will ensure members are routed to the correct TFCU team needed for those products or services.

Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position.
  • Level I: starting hourly rate is $30.36 - $37.95 per hour
  • Level II: starting hourly rate is $33.70 - $42.13 per hour
  • Level III: starting hourly rate is $37.41 - 46.76 per hour
  • Senior Level: starting hourly rate is $41.53 - 51.90 per hour

However, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule:
Normally works a weekday schedule, but may be required to work evenings, holidays, or weekends. May be required to travel overnight with or without notice.
Education/Experience:
50 hours of college for all levels is required. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.
  • Level I: Requires one year of support experience within an administrative function that is applicable to a financial institution. Experience in commercial lending is preferred.
  • Level II: Requires two years of support experience within an administrative function that is applicable to a financial institution, one of which must be within commercial lending.
  • Level III: Requires three years of experience within an administrative function that is applicable to a financial institution, two of which must be within commercial lending.
  • Senior Level: Requires five years of experience within an administrative function within commercial lending.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  1. Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU's chosen authority.
  2. NMLS License.
  3. Approved lending authority by the Management Loan Review Committee.
  4. Notary Public for the State of Oklahoma.

Keys to success:
In order to be successful as a Commercial Loan Assistant I, II, III or Senior, you must possess these qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintains an in depth knowledgeable of Credit Union Compliance, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with the loan officer(s) to ensure compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet group objectives within established or expected tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle situations with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
