Job description

Job Title: ISR Analyst III / BIG SAFARI Program Liaison
Location: Tinker AFB, OK
Minimum Clearance Required: TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Travel: CONUS/OCNUS travel may be required throughout the year
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
BIG SAFARI Liaison located within the Legacy Tanker Program Office at Tinker AFB OK provides direct Subject Matter Expertise (SME), support to the RC-135 Fleet. Prime objective of this position is to minimize and/or eliminate duplication in support between the C/KC-135 aircraft managed by the KC PO (Tinker AFB) and BIG SAFARI (645th AESG, WPAFB). Harmonizes C/KC-135 issues and programs, leveraging airframe commonalities to minimize BIG SAFARI costs.
Who You Are and What You Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or corresponding experience is required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of ISR mission aircraft experience including review, analysis and management of complex ISR mission-area issues surrounding processes, systems and logistics.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in problem solving, decision making, financial management, contract execution/management and USAF aircraft maintenance and logistics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Familiarity with current Federal Aviation Administration regulations to active-duty ISR organizations.
  • Experience with BIG SAFARI Special Projects, Aeronautical Systems Center/Air Force Life Cycle Logistics Center and associated intelligence organizations and systems.
  • Possess administrator experience with a proven record of leadership in problem solving, effective communication and decision making.
  • Current in Air Force maintenance and logistic support concepts.
  • Possess knowledge of DOD programs and procedures for production, maintenance, and currency of Flight, Technical, and Maintenance Manuals with supporting materials.
  • Aptly proficient in presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office operating systems and office products.

What You Will Do:
  • Participate in C/KC-135 Aircraft Integrity Working Groups for the review, evaluation, and recommended action of Boeing Service Bulletins and FAA Airworthiness Directives.
  • Reviews KC, RC, TC, and WC historical maintenance records and contractor provided failure analysis reports and provides inputs to PMO for recommendations to improve reliability and maintainability.
  • Coordinate with Propulsion Management and various offices/shops on F108-100/201 engine issues
  • Manage Engineering Assignments (EA) under C/KC-135 Fleet Support Contract.
  • Support and answer UK requests for technical information (RTI) assigned by 645th AESG WPAFB.
  • Coordinate efforts between 645th, Tanker Legacy Group Technical Order Management Agent (TOMA) to supply source data, tech order changes, flight manual updates, TCTO requests, financial/management support for accuracy and correctness of data.
  • Focal Point for D200 program inputs, providing current/accurate Periodic Depot Maintenance (PDM) schedules, driving requirements of Air Force managed items in support of PDM.
  • Provide direct Subject Matter Expertise (SME), Liaison support between 645th AESS, Greenville Tx, Offutt AFB, NE and C/KC-135 SPO, Tinker AFB for BIG SAFARI (BS) RC-135 aircraft fleet.
  • Coordinate with the Tinker AFB Foreign Discloser Office (FDO) and United Kingdom (UK) with request for Tech orders, TCTO's, and technical documents.
  • BIG SAFARI focal for Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) to assist with the storage induction and disposal of aircraft/assets into AMARG.
  • Focal point for PDM work spec issues by reviewing and submitting changes that would affect tech orders, work spec items and inspection work cards which would affect the outcome of the PDM.
  • Participate in C/KC-135 work group meetings, telecoms, PMR, PIWG's and provide on-site representation for C/KC and Boeing program reviews.
  • Use various data systems (A Team, Fed Log, GBSO, BLADE, JRAMS, ETIMS, LCMP) for support of maintenance trends and failures to ensure compliance with Air Force requirements.
  • Support daily issues from BIG SAFARI Depot and users in the field.
