Job description

Position Description & Qualifications If you want to work on a cutting-edge Air Force program, Serco has a great opportunity for you! As a Senior Equipment Specialist for Aircraft Electrical & Auxiliary Power Systems and Avionics, you will be supporting a classified program at Tinker AFB, OK. An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance is required. In this role, you will: * Perform as technical advisor and provision Electrical and Auxiliary Power Systems, Avionics, and Low Observable (LO) material to include spare parts, maintenance tools, and support equipment. * Review specifications, technical reviews, interface control documents, and support equipment recommendation data (SERD) to ensure proper development of new tooling and parts. * Stocklist support equipment in the D043A AF Master Item Identification Database and D143C AF Federal Logistics Information System. * Validate, verify, and edit Technical Order (TOs), technical data modules, and time compliance technical orders. * Provide technical and configuration management inputs and evaluate contractor proposals to determine feasibility and supportability of proposed modifications. * Evaluate test results to verify and evaluate pre-planning of required maintenance. * Support operational level (main operating base) and/or depot level maintenance activation actions utilizing USAF Technical Data and Supply Systems. * Develop maintenance strategies for sub-systems, implementing suitable maintenance tools, support equipment, and technical orders. * Work directly with the users (operators and maintainers) and prime contractor to develop processes in a teaming environment. To be successful in this role, you will have: * An active SECRET security clearance with background investigation current within the past 5 years or under Continuous Evaluation. * The ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access and apply for a TOP-SECRET security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). * A High-school Diploma/GEDis required * 10-years experience maintaining aircraft and commodities in an organizational level or depot level military environment; preferably with power systems, avionics, and LO. * The ability to travel 10%. Additional desired experience and skills: * An active TOP-SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and access to Special Access Program (SAP) and have a background investigation current within the past 5 years or under Continuous Evaluation * Bachelor's Degree * Experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or SCI environment * Multifaceted experience with spares provisioning, flight-line maintenance, technical order development, and depot-level actions * Familiarity with the D043A and D143C Systems and Engineering Logistics Management Application (ELMA) database If you are interested in supporting and working with our Air Force and airmen and a dedicated Serco team, then submit your application now for immediate consideration.
