Job description

Night Crew 6:45PM to 7AM 2/2/3 Schedule.
This position is for our Wilmington Location.
Maintenance Tech II Starting Pay: $27 per hour.
Maintenance Tech III Starting Pay: $30.50 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
• Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
• Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
• Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.
• Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
• Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
• Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift
• Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
• Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed
• Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech I
  • Computer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor
    Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
  • Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
  • Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills and
    proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Strong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of
    audiences
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7
    manufacturing environment

Education Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s Training
    • Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
    • Completion of two year Maintenance Certification course
    • Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus
    • Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
