Job Summary:

The AZEK Company/Timbertech Wilmington division is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for their Prairie Avenue facility. If you are a high-energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, please submit your resume for further consideration. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times with some assistance.
• Shows consistent desire, learning, and improvement in all maintenance responsibilities, duties, and tasks.
• Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
• Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators
within the level of their current abilities.
• Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
• Assists operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
• Leads preventative maintenance process on the shift within the level of their current abilities.
• Supports in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
• Leads and supports other plant projects as needed
• Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Enrollment in advanced education and/or related certification(s) a plus
  • Experience: Experience in a similar position a plus
  • Computer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Ability to show constant learning and improvement in working with and troubleshooting: Electrical,
    Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
  • Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment, a plus;
    Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
  • Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings or an approved plan to learn how to read and understand drawings\
  • Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Success in planning, executing and managing projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s Training
    • Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
    • Enrollment in Facility Maintenance Certification course, a plus
    • Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
    • Stick and wire welding experience with structural welding certification preferred

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
