Location: PITTSBURGH and SURROUNDING AREAS
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30–$45/hour (based on experience) + bonuses, paid holidays, PTO, and overtime opportunities
About Us
We're a growing custom deck building and remodeling company that takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We specialize in composite and wood decks, covered decks, pergolas, railings, and outdoor living spaces. We're looking for an experienced Foreman who can lead a crew, maintain quality, and keep projects running efficiently.
Responsibilities
  •  Lead a crew of 2–5 carpenters and laborers on residential projects 
  •  Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans 
  •  Build custom decks, pergolas, roof structures, stairs, and railings 
  •  Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget 
  •  Communicate with homeowners professionally throughout the project 
  •  Train and mentor crew members 
  •  Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site 
  •  Coordinate material deliveries and equipment needs 
  •  Perform quality control and ensure work meets company standards and local building codes 
Qualifications
  •  5+ years of carpentry or deck-building experience 
  •  Previous crew leadership or foreman experience preferred 
  •  Strong knowledge of framing, decking, rail systems, and exterior construction 
  •  Ability to read plans and lay out projects accurately 
  •  Experience with composite decking products (TimberTech, Trex, Fiberon, etc.) 
  •  Knowledge of residential building codes 
  •  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 
  •  Able to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions 
  •  Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented 
Preferred Skills
  •  Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, or other equipment 
  •  Ability to troubleshoot job-site issues independently 
  •  Excellent communication and leadership skills 
  •  OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred but not required)
